I have got my facts
very straight, pal.
The configurator on the Belgian BMW website specifies CO2 output for a manual M4 at 227g/km.
Using that value to fill out the tax simulator (
https://belastingen.fenb.be/ui/public/vkb/simulatie) gets me the following results:
- Yearly tax: €976.97
- BIV: €6080.76
The DCT version is specified at 213g/km, which leads to the following results:
- Yearly tax: €941.74
- BIV: €4360.10
I’ll agree that the DCT is considerably cheaper, but it’s still well north of your claimed €3k figure.
So unless you’re telling me the tax simulator is completely and utterly wrong, I think perhaps you should get your facts straight instead before pointing fingers at others who did their research...
