Honestly, i have never had a problem just hitting the button to activate the parking camera. If you stop when the fake black shadow is at the block you have about a foot left.

I totally get with a line of cars, that just creates a bit of pressure. Honestly I still havent figured out the safest point on the BMW front parking camera...
I dont have it on my G80X but had it on my other recent M's and Im not sure why there is that shaded black part and beyond that the line. Why not just show me the front and the damn line where I could possibly be too close. The black shade still leaves quite a bit of room IMHO. I dont like my ass sticking out; I have gained weight during covid as well.
