The guy slipped on Black Ice and there is nothing you can do about that, idc what tires you put on. Period.

I have PSS on my M2C and common sense not to drive them below 50 like the manufacturer recommends.
One year when I had my E36M3, it was late October before I got around to putting on my winter tires. When I stacked the summer tires, I noticed there was frozen water, yes ice IN the soft compound. I was driving on frozen tires.
