The CT4 is using latest generation of MagneRide dampers and BMW is still rocking some active suspension technology that they first introduced in the 1996 MY 7 Series.

The difference is night and day in how they operate and the results. BMW active dampers can really only alternate from really hard to soft, per wheel, with no nuance in-between but with MagneRide suspension, the softest to stiffest settings, there's an infinite amount of variability, per wheel.

MagneRide allows the tires to maintain contact with the road over a wider range of conditions than conventional active dampers would. Hence, in a nutshell, they perform better than the BMW offering and is what Ferrari, Lamborghini, Range Rover, ect, currently uses on their vehicles.

.
Sure but all the g8x models have the same suspension tech, so again, what's their justification for claiming the Blackwing drives better than the base g8x but the AWD g8x comp drives better than the Blackwing? Most say the all three iterations of the g8x drive pretty much the same.
Yea that is perplexing because like you said, all G8Xs have the same suspension and should all perform all the same, except the AWD version has a diff in the back and front to modulate torque..

Maybe they are mincing their words and implying the AWD G8X comp has better traction than the RWD CT4 and is conflating that with overall handling.
