Agree with you on the F80/F82 in that it's much "easier" to have noises from incorrect installs. Without trying to sound "sales-y" here...there's 0 knocking noises on our G80 right now. Surprised, but very happy that it's no different than stock. We got asked this question a few times, so we might make a video of it inside while driving.
