I own a shop in Fresno ca that does Xpel Ppf. I can tell you it will not change the color of the frozen paint. If anything the film might have a different sheen or reflect like different then what the factory frozen paint does. On cars with frozen paint like on bmw and Mercedes we usually recommend doing full body. Not only for that reason but because this paint is so difficult to maintain. Ppf gives you some peace of mind.
