I wonder what the status quo is with Hammy's contract to Mercedes.
I saw this article dated 24 may that, according to Helmut Marko, Hammy's main point is that he wants to earn more than Max:

So this is 1 month before rumoured details about Hammy's mega proposal to Mercedes (£50/year for 5 years I believe?)
Marko migth be right on this one.
