Because it was a drag race not a distance race. Also, Tesla is all over the internet thrashing the shit out of Lamorgini's, Ferrari's etc. Cars that all cost in many cases 3X as much. This was Porsche making a point. If I was in the market for an EV and money wan't the issue I'd buy the Porsche all day, everyday. If you're looking for range get a VX TDI, you can pick one up for about $3500. |
