I interpreted this as the platform would have the following configurations:
- FWD - ICE or Electric (Front)
- RWD - Electric (Rear)
- AWD (PHEV/HEV) - ICE (Front), Electric (Rear)
- AWD (BEV) - Electric (Front), Electric (Rear)
So current ULK models would easily transition to the FWD or AWD configuration. Maybe even a fun compact RWD BEV. The downside is without a tunnel, I don't see a possibility of an ICE powering the rear wheel, unless there is a mid/rear engine in the cards.
