Kudos to BMW M for bringing RWD and AWD at the same time in this generation. More so, that they weren't lazy with RWD traction optimization! They could have said: Don't fiddle with G8x RWD traction ... G8x AWD will fix this.
But they went the long way and put all engineering efforts in making perfect RWD performance/traction in a way, that even skilled journalists after first driving impressions with G8x RWD thought, they were allready driving the AWD variant!

If you look at the bedford track timing list, you see how the G8x RWD (being shy just 0,5s of the AWD) totally obliterates the F8x RWD!

So: Totally in awe of performance of BOTH AWD and RWD here.
Curious to see G8x Competition AWD performance in sport auto supertest. Yes - I'm sure, it is to come!
