- I don't want to be forced to buying an SUV (which I'm not planning to do anytime soon). The G81 will help me stay with the BMW brand instead of considering other wagon options (e.g. used E63S wagon or used RS6 avant).
- G81 wagon could potentially attract customers from other brands (i.e. people who are considering A4 allroad, A6 allroad, E-class wagon etc.)
- Especially if it's offered with a 6MT option, it get even more attention from the enthusiasts. I know enthusiast are a small portion of the market but still it will be a nice selling point even for people who are not actively on the market.
as someone who was on a waiting list for the rs6 avant I can assure you the car is not worth the money and the amg wagon looks dated and like a hearse
That would be another selling point for the G81. It would be significantly cheaper than an RS6 Avant or E63S Wagon. I personally really like both RS6 and E63S except for the price point (that V8 in E63S especially sounds glorious). I would only be interested in buying a used example of those two. Out of all three, G81 would be my first choice and I would go for a brand new one.
