BMW is obviously aware and they will remedy the situation for their customers. Will this suck to go through if you have this recall…YES, but BMW will 100% get this issue fixed and this will be forgotten in a year. Let’s all calm down, this news never should have been given to the public on a Friday but what can you do. We’ll know more next week. Everyone have a great weekend!
Def don't disagree. I'm usually not one to overreact. But for those of us in the 'worst' potential position (have the recall/SS, purchased, only a couple hundred miles in, additional sunk cost in for ppf, etc.), w/ a best case scenario being a minor inconvenience and some confidence in the engine eroded, it's a tough pill to swallow. Worst case scenarios are hard to imagine.

But regardless, dealing with disappointment and anxiety for what will probably be weeks when we should be over the moon w/ our new rides - we don't get that back no matter the fix. Not angry - ok maybe a bit - just bummed.
