Funny you mentioned this, because I was watching one of the episodes of Engineering Explained in YouTube where the guy tested an Impreza with and without the charcoal filters and claimed no power gains (based on dyno results). But common sense would tell you that less restriction = more power. I did it to my Impreza (commuter) and will do it next to my M4. |
It's more of an effect on tuned cars. We saw over 10whp on my S55 up top
