Every year the week of Memorial Day, a small town near where I grew up puts on an "Avenue of Flags" and fly a flag for the local vets that have passed. The single picture does not do it justice as it is 10 times bigger than just this one isle. When you drive by on a sunny day with all those flags blowing - it is breathtaking. They put a plaque on each one with the fallen vet's name.

This one is my fathers. Yes his name was Elmo and yes he would have laughed as much as you when you gave him shit about it......... =) When your name is Elmo - you get a sense of humor real quick.
