The M3 sits much higher so this might alleviate that issue. The main reason I would want them, is it makes the backseat even more roomy and I will have kids & passengers in the backseat often. And they look cool.

Any concern about kids destroying the carbon fiber with their feet? My kids are 6 & 7 and could probably be convinced not to totally destroy them but I'm sure they would get a little banged up ... which I'm okay with .... but def something to consider I'd think.
