The M3 sits much higher so this might alleviate that issue. The main reason I would want them, is it makes the backseat even more roomy and I will have kids & passengers in the backseat often. And they look cool.

They are £3400 as an option on the UK configurator, so I'm going to guess $3500-$4000 if they give us them as an individual option this side of the pond. Usually they minimize the options though here, so I wouldn't be surprised if they are a pack option of some kind. We'll see. |
US they are standalone according to the BMWNA presser (only packs are exec, parking, driver assist pro)
My guess is 2500 for the carbon buckets
