It's a twin disc already. They're pretty much at the limit of it being street drivable, with the current size bell housing, and going with a clutch that people would never buy the car with.
Ask G80_Soom where it got him. The next clutch is likely sintered iron and it's going to be a light switch. Which means it's not slippable. Its either engaged, or its not. I spent decades trying to perfect DSMs, with manual AWD drivetrains. There isn't really an in between.
