There has been an id7 update that has changed a few things and I believe what I posted is now outdated. I'm still on an old version, so I can't test it.
I would email
info@bimmercode.app, however from what I remember backups are meant to restore if something has gone wrong, not if it's been reflashed. In the past with my previous BMWs just re-coded just in case. That way, if there is a feature that has changed, I can see for myself that it has changed and that the procedure needs to be adjusted for those changes.
