You're not wrong, and that's the point. The Wright Flyer has elevators in the front and pusher propellers on the back. Whoever did the artwork oriented the plane with pulling propellers on front and the elevators on the rear.
There's a big dispute between Ohio and North Carolina over being the birthplace of aviation. Although the flight took place at Kitty Hawk NC, the Wrights' bicycle shop in Ohio is where the plane was constructed.....
