I think you are right, you have to figure out the e85% content in your tank within ??? tolerance of error, and then select your JB4 map. Which I'm sure is fine for most people.

I'm still learning about this new S58 platform (I feel like a true newbie again). Some of the questions I have are:
- What's keeping the S58 from running 100% e85?
- With a JB4, how far off can the e85% content be before getting in trouble?
-- What would happened if running too LOW of e85 for the map?
-- What would happened if running too HIGH of e85 for the map?
-Is it recommended to run a full tank of premium after ~4 tanks of e20-e40?

I guess I'm just blowing this out of proportion, since I've only seen a few ask these questions.
But for me, after a few tank re-fills, I would start to lose track of what e85% I have in the tank with a good degree of certainty.
