You're in NY. Assuming your in NYC/LI, buying a house is smart because the appreciation here is insane. Also, in a 1-3 years these G8x will be getting the hefty lease discounts we've been seeing on F8x and even the new x3m now. I know you love cars but a decision like this can be the reason you're able to comfortably buy nice cars for the rest of your life, and at the end of the day an m340 type car isn't a big compromise as it's temporary and smarter for your position.
