I have my radio settings changed to where it will shut off when I open my door (assuming the car is already off). You can bypass this setting when you want by opening the door before you turn off the car too! Its like having both options on demand. I dont know what setting it is since I changed this a year ago but I hate having my radio running when I turn off the car. This is a BMW feature that goes back to the e92s as far as I know.
