On a scale of 1-10 (1 being no dust and 10 being dust from OEM pads)…..where would you related dust accumulation from these new pads?
When I ordered my pads, there wasn't much selection. I went with DFC3000 pads for front an Centric ceramic pads for rear. I will say the dust level for front pads are about a 5 compared to oem and rear is virtually 0. Stopping power is great, not oem but I don't track my car. I had my friend who is a BMW tech install mine.
Awesome info….thx! I feel strange about taking a brand new car to put different pads on, but that dust may be so bad that I won't have a choice. I don't track my car either. Would BMW frown upon me doing this while still under warranty?
