Lots of "old man yells at cloud" posts in here. I can't say I'm surprised.
Imagine abandoning a brand because you don't like the way they're marketing to a younger crowd. It's adapt or die, folks. This isn't a new concept, and it certainly isn't hard to understand.
BMW will survive because the folks jumping ship will certainly be outnumbered by the loyalists that stay, and I'm sure this factored into BMW's calculations.
