Manual has always been a discount for both Porsche and BMW. No matter what the automatic transmission choice was SMG, Tiptronic, PDK, DCT. Porsche got rid of the discount this year, but gives you some other things for free, so it still gets you some value. BMW seemingly just got rid of it, with no other added value.
It was always nice to buy for about 3k less.
