It was always my goal to match and complement the classic Dakar Yellow paint with some aggressive mods.
BMW provided some very aggressive M performance rocker blades and winglets, so it was up to certain manufacturers to create aftermarket parts that really bring out the aggressiveness that dwells in the G80. I think I've found a few!
This is the first round of mods:
ANRKY S1-X1 in 20's all around
Michelin Pilot Sport 4S in 275/30/20 and 295/30/20
KW HAS
iND painted front reflectors
iND painted rear reflectors
iND painted carbon fiber side markers with Dakar Yellow accents
R44 ducktail spoiler
MAD catless downpipes with mini cats
Active Autowerke single midpipe
Remus Race axle back with chrome tips
The car is stanced near perfectly IMO, as the front wheels have some space to poke out a bit more, but not much. The iND painted stuff is just amazing. The side markers look great and I can't wait for more of their things to come in.. ahem, still waiting on that custom 6MT boot leather guys
IND-Distribution iND were also kind enough to leave the black M3 badge off the side markers and AutoCouture were able to put the stock ones on. Oh, and the R44 ducktail spoiler is just a must-have. I was a bit iffy because I wasn't sure about the "kick" but it's just certain angles that make it look different.
The car sounds pretty raunchy too, but I think I'm going to experiment with some different parts as I'm not really in love with the sound yet.. maybe a valve controller will help. I'll eventually get clips of the exhaust, but it is definitely not for everyone as it drones hard around 2500 RPM but is perfectly fine for my intended purposes. The Remus tips are awesome though, as I love the chrome badge matching everywhere and they stick out a lot!
Second round is coming up pretty soon! Vorsteiner will completely change the front end, and maybe a few other parts here and there

Enjoy the pics! I took all of them (except for the closeup of the side marker) on a Nikon DSLR within 5-10 minutes of each other. Dakar Yellow can change in pictures based on the sunlight, but it isn't as profound as it appears in photos. It mainly retains the flatter duller yellow that is prominent in cloudy shots. The car is not clean and is dirty because I just don't have the time to clean it haha, so sorry!
