I agree with others that this blue looks the same as that available on the pedestrian 3-series models. I wouldn't get a color shared with non-M cars, whether that makes me a snob or not I don't care.

I have no issue with someone wanting an M-specific color and having that as a requirement for color selection, all the power to you. I take issue (and I think some other people feel the same) with the implication that buying an M with a shared color makes the car unworthy. There is so much more to this car than just the color. M is about performance. If you prefer a unique color for your own enjoyment great, if you live in fear that someone else will make a snarky comment that your M is not a bespoke color, then you need to check your motivations for buying this car. M is a club like any other, but it's not Rolls-Royce.
