From a side view if that portion...for a car based on a series production sedan...please outline what you were expecting?

Wings?
Invisible paint?
Maybe just wait for the reveal? I agree it does look like any other BMW Sedan from that picture but using my mind I can recall that so will every other M5 and M3 saloon released to date, the hips, wheels, exhausts M changed are all elsewhere as I'm sure you know.
