Your laser high beams are disabled? Or are you referring to the anti-dazzle decoding 5AP on the build sheet? You mentioned highway speeds so I assume you were going over 37mph.
My loaner X5 has laser headlights and they are INSANELY bright once you get out of the city.
I also seem to notice less obnoxious reflections from street signs driving in the city but I will agree that for normal driving they aren't that different.
(but again, have to be going over 37 to get the lazerbeeemz to fire up)
