I would just keep your order. Worst case with option 1, you get pushed into option 2.

Yes, this was my thinking as well.
The only risk I can see is cancelling my order due to the lack of allocations AFTER the order guide is out for the post-LCI models. In this case I will only be able to order the post-LCI model AFTER the people who went for option 2 as a first choice.
Also, I am skeptical regaring the allocation. My order is currently on code 111 and I think it doesn't mean that production slot has been allocated yet...
But still, I think I will go for option 1...
