The AWD concept of the M3/M4 (G80/G82) is that same as in the M5 (F90). So you could switch between 4WD, 4WD Sport and 2WD. The AWD in the M3/M4 (G80/G82) as of today comes only with ZF8 Auto and not with manual. Hope that helps...
