Not always true. My wife’s TJ wrangler she bought new in 2000 has sufficed and I got a E82 128 for the kid hauler when not in the wrangler. Granted before having the kiddo we just had the wrangler and the E85 so had to have 2 cars with a back seat. We leased a 07 wrangler and hated it so the E82 replaced the wrangler unlimited 4 door. We got some laughs but the easiest way to put a rear facing infant car seat in was loading it from the back of the tj wrangler rather than fighting through or around a seat from the side door.
