I see there are two categories of special-order color:
1)
Paintwork exchange within the BMW offer, which I assume means any current-production color from any German plant. This has a cost of 1998 EUR, or about $2400 USD
2)
BMW Individual Manufaktur Paintwork "Special paintworks" which I take to mean any color from the Individual Visualizer. This has a cost of 3445 EUR, or about $4150 USD.
Obviously I recognize the North American prices may be different, but I'm simply pointing out that there are two pricing structures in place.
I'm hoping that Donington is available in the first category, since it's in use in Dingolfing, and maybe won't carry the $4500-5500 premium that more 'exotic' colors do.
