Who here is planning on driving their G80s through the winter season?
Just had the excellent folks at Bill Jacobs switch to my OEM matte black square 19" wheels with Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 tires.
This will be my second season in the winter on this combo and as expected has been excellent.
If/when the snow gets really deep I'll use the Cayenne TT w/dedicated snows as I've found this to be damn near unstoppable.
As an aside I was surprised to see that the OEM Michelin Pilot Sport 4S' still have another solid season in them at 16,000 total miles on the car.
If I recall extended life was an attribute of the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S vs the previous Michelin Pilot Super Sports.
From my experience this appears to be true,
