Well, Recaro says the headrest padding on the Sport C is not removable.
It's such a cool seat and I don't track my M2 as much anymore (I save most of my track for the race cars), so I may still give it a shot.
At $3k/seat it's a good alternative to the BMW carbon buckets which I love, but are hard and expensive to find.
