On the flip side, I now get why the M4 is the size that it is. All vehicles have gotten so huge that everything has to grow in proportion to each other. While the G8x platform is bigger than its predecessor, it’s still small compared to a F150 on the road.
In this sense, the M4 gives me a feeling of safety vs the cayman.

It more about energy absorption and not just pure mass, although this does play a part in things. Some good videos out from the NHTSA for their 50th anniversary showing an old heavy Malibu vs a newer one.
On the M4 vs Spyder, Spyder without question. Just a pure drivers car.
