I was under the impression that "Track" M Mode disabled all of the crash deterrent systems. In fact, when I checked the iDrive and it does say all that stuff is off. In Sport mode, it remains partially on.

Note that my understanding is that this setting is only available with the "M Drive Professional" option which also includes the ten stage M Traction Control and the M Drift Analyzer. Two things I will probably never use (all TC off, and I don't drift). Luckily after a little debate, I checked that box anyway, but had I known Track mode was only available with this option, I wouldn't have thought twice.

In all honestly, the ability to turn that stuff off should have come equipped no matter what.
It doesn't disable pre-crash sensors. It turns off
all the dynamic stability control stuff.
