When you say something ON A CAR FORUM such as "If it’s the car you both use regularly, buckets not recommended. The joy they give you is not going to outweigh the complaints you hear every single time you ride in the car together" you're opening yourself up to the peanut gallery. It wasn't personal although he took it very personally (she is clearly reading his posts and he felt the need to defend).
You're basically admitting that you would LOVE to get the bucket seats but you don't wanna deal with your wife nagging. That kind of statement on a car forum is gold. I get it, I used to be married.
Also, it's not clear to me whether he owns a car with bucket seats and should be opining.
