Ok, so the way that BMW's build tools put the visualization together is based on URL parameters. That's all the codes in the web address. The first code is the upholstery.
For example:

This builds a German M3 with Fjord blue extended leather. Different interiors change that first Fcode. I tested it across build tools in the US and Canada, where I am. Fjord blue interior doesn't work, but others did.
My wife does not like the Fjord blue (she's fond of what is/was my top pick: Silverstone full leather). I haven't decided yet if that matters to me, because its my car and I like blue, dammit!
