100% agree that this ad, and indeed the entire dubious "M-Town" advertising campaign are, for the most part, not aimed at actual M3/M4 buyers. The typical M3/M4 buyer is not going care about ads in general. He or she usually knows the market, knows the competitors, and makes an informed decision. These ads are aimed at younger buyers who might be swayed to buy a BMW (maybe, if s/he can afford it, one with a few M badges scattered about). Of course, the same can be said for "halo" cars and advertisements across many automobile manufacturers.
