I can tell you that when I first bought my 2017 M4C if I had seen an E30 on the road I wouldn't have realized what I was looking at. When I bought it I just loved driving it. I didn't know the history of the M at all. I can't say that I know the history a whole lot better now, but I know enough that I'd definitely give a wave.
