I've lived in Brazil for several years (only mentioning that because it looks like you're from there) and have traveled the world and see how people/family units live together. This is not uncommon, and usually most do it because of their family "bond". Yes, financial reasons make up a big part of the reason too but mostly family connections due to culture. In America, unless you're a full-time student or have mental/health/disability issues, living at home (mostly) bill-free is odd when you're past the age of 21. Millenials here tend to stay on the tit a whole lot longer than previous generations. Even our own government, which considers a person to be an adult at 18 has expanded the definition of "children" to include those up to the age of 26! No previous generation would have even considered someone still a child at 26. It's crazy!
