Drive it as normal until they tell you not to.
If the engine blows up I'd rather it happened quickly and get a brand new engine or a full refund rather than bearing replaced by god knows who
I wonder will this issue grow legs in to all cars that have already been produced. Seems strange. Maybe there was a bad batch of parts during specific weeks, who knows

It's a bad batch of parts in the engine production process. That's separate from the car assembly process. That's why not all cars in that timeframe
