I can see that happening. I guess for that caliper I'm thinking more about how it's a proper fixed design, super easy to service, swap pads and it's completely adequate on the track all from the factory. Almost no chance we'll see that again.
Although I don't like the styling of the G8x, S58 sure beats a hybrid or, gasp!, electric M. Well unless they make something remarkable like using the starter motor as a KERS type thing and call it a hybrid.
