Agreed, but it's a pretty beefy caliper which takes track use quite happily.

So I guess the question is - what cars are in production now that would still have easily-swappable pads? Any examples quickly come to mind? I could be mistaken - but I believe the C8 and 2020 GT500 have E brakes in rear from the rear brake calipers - which I would hope would allow for easy repair as swaps...
