Not if it feels like concrete after 1 hour of driving. Remember, I still have to drive to the track {Willow Springs in LA} and if my back is killing me when I arrive what good will the weight savings of the bucket seats do?
Id be surprised if thats the case (unless youve got back issues) given that they are still an adjustable 2 piece seat designed for road use, not a purpose built 1 piece race bucket.
The fact they will hold you in place correctly & allow a harness to be used is of much more benefit on track than the weight difference btw.
I'm pretty sure those seats alone even without any harness have much better holding capacity than any F series M car ever came equipped with.

Also they look more comfortable than Porsche buckets witch owners seem to be ok driving 2-3hr to Mont-Tremblant were I track the most.
