Compete nonsense. They spent the money to develop the MT car in the first place while their main competitors quit. That's the exact opposite of cost cutting.
Additional note: Sometimes there’s more going on than meets the eye, and this thread was originally locked for a good reason (after removing blatant bashing in order to address the underlying question).
