Is it really though? F12/3 wasn't a good example of spatial efficiency. Occupant space was odd, the flying buttresses that had to be accommodated for the Conv made for a very long rear overhang, and the pronounced taper at the front caused the plate bracket to sit very proud. Of course all of that made for a clean aesthetic.
The Gxx 4er Coupé is bigger than its predecessor, but I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing.
