For the E92 M3 I could see the appeal since dropping nearly 50lbs of weight was a huge improvement on that platform.
But on the G80, why spend $7K on an exhaust other than to impress others?

I don't get it either but I saw one of the companies offering the Mid Pipe was saying it's 25lbs lighter so I'm sure weight is one factor but I just don't understand how anyone can pay this price for a 'brand name' essentially. I think a really good exhaust fabrication shop can do a custom job for a fraction of the price
