I may have to eat my earlier post if it's true the chip shortages are going to delete options I care about (e.g. Laserlights). My timeline is needing a car within the next 5 or 6 months, so I can't wait a year or more for the supply shortages to resolve.
In light of that, I may have to opt for the M3 over the M4. I'm not as sold on the exterior design, but it is cheaper, and if I'm honest with myself the last couple of years with this car I'm likely to be sticking a car seat in back anyway.
